A First Look at my Garden

I don’t know much about gardening, but I’m learning. Over spring break, I planted my garden.

The very beginning...

They didn’t all make it. I blame my mother for not watering my baby plants while I was at school, but I guess that’s my fault for leaving them alone… I should have brought them with me. A few resilient plants (beans, tomatoes, zucchini and strawberries) survived.

So, the good news is this:
The tomatoes are blossoming. There are two baby zucchinis and lots of flowers. The strawberries are still green, but they’re going to be ready any day now! The beans are doing well too Right now there are two little ones just waiting to be picked and eaten. I’ll show more photos and provide some tips I’ve learned from Food Roots when the sun returns!
